You took part in the 5^th Vallee de l’Arc Contest, and our association is please to announce that you are one of the happy winners.

At this occasion, we are inviting you to the award ceremony on March 4^th, 2000, at the “Bontemps” room, in GArdanne, at 11am sharp, in the presence of the Mayor/Senator of Gardanne.

Following the ceremony, the awarded photo will be exhibited in the room from March 4 to 13, 2000.

If you are not able to attend the ceremony, we will send you your prize as soon as possible.

These are triplets poding… To obtain such an surprising image, Sandrine used numeric technics with photoshop. The juxtaposition of the lines formed by the arms and the legs, the punctuation of the hands, generate a rhythm worthy of the famous "nude descending the staircase". Here repetition does not engender lassitude. The contrast treatment accentuates the graphic of the composition and despite all, still retains substance in highlights. For the lighting, Sandrine used three "Cremer". These are lamps equipped with a Fresnel lens, commonly used in theaters, and which provide a very focalized and therefore highly contrasted light. This image is part of a series of female nudes.

Sandrine Hermand Grisel was selected for the 8^th talent grant. “Passionate about photo since the youngest age, I have committed myself to photograph the human person. In my desire to identify the real, to stop life, I never stop to search into the images of the body; I try to explore its postures and its movements. But I asked myself what the photographs let us see from the human beyond the model…”
