Nocturnes dans Le Photographe Magazine

Dans le cadre du 30 eme Prix Kodak de la Critique Photographique je suis citee dans l'article du Magazine le Photographe daté de Fevrier 2006.

Quality, not surprisingly
The four distinguished applications in this 2005 edition confirm the "author" tonality of a prize recognized as an institution. Beyond the images, the intention or the aesthetic research tell us that all technologies combined, photography remains more than ever a project matter.

The third special mention goes to SANDRINE HERMAND GRISEL distinguishing a singular work on the portrait, which the artist places at the convergence of the heritages of Flemish painting of the XVIIth century, the pictorial current of the end of XIXth century and contemporary digital solutions. SANDRINE HERMAND GRISEL realized her portraits of the series Nocturnes with a Leica M7, transited by photoshop before executing her unique pieces by color printing on canvas. At the end, she obtains these timeless faces emerging from a chiaroscuro that could have been from Rembrandt and Stieglitz.
